Museum education workshop for school classes

The workshop takes place at the Mitte Museum. However, we can also arrange to come to your school and transform your classroom into a classroom from the past.

The fascinating questions in this context are: What are the differences between schools then and now? How did schoolchildren speak in 1900? Which tools were commonly used for writing and drawing? 

The participants learn interesting facts, for example about the Berlin vernacular, and they try to write in old German script, using ink and quill.

After successfully completing the writing experiment, the children receive a certificate.
