Collection de cartes murales scolaires.

The Collection

The Mitte Museum collects objects, documents and archival
materials that inform about the history and the present of the Mitte district. They trace back to people who lived or worked here, and to companies that were or still are located here.

In addition, we also hold objects from the history of the local and the military administration. The art collection includes graphic design works, paintings, large and small sculptures. They were created by artists who had or still have their main home in the district. Many works were acquired to develop local art collections at the district level (Tiergarten, Wedding). Others had their origins in the grants for artists from the Department of Culture, Magistrate of Berlin (GDR).
